I know we don't live in a 'perfect' world. I know we all have free will and a choice what we are going to do each day. You know what we are going to do, say, think, feel, etc.
Out of the millions of people on this planet, hunger and poverty should have been eradicated YEARS ago. Not saying everybody should be living high on the hog, but it really should have been solved ions ago and it's a simple thing to do really.
If every single one of us well to do folks got together with others and donated our time, efforts, and money, their wouldn't be so much heartache and misery among the masses.
Do you not touch anyone's mind and heart anymore Yahweh?
Out of the millions of Christians, these 2 issues are more defined then ever before and nothing is being done.
It takes more than 1 person to do it all.
Aren't Christians supposed to be your hands, feet, voice?
This effects non Christians too. It's up to every one of us to reach out and lend what we can to those who need it.
If you know somebody is going to get raped or killed, why do you allow it Yahweh? Why do you allow that person to be scared for life and never be the same again? Why can't you, for that moment, change that person's thoughts or heart to not do such a horrible act?
All it takes is a touch from you to save a man, woman or child from this wickedness.
Or does that take away the whole 'free will' aspect that you give people?
I don't understand.
Those poor unvoiced babies that never get the chance to see the light of day. God that hurts. It hurts to know, right now as I type this, a woman has chosen to get scraped out.
The Bible tells us not to murder. But every single day, every single hour / minute, we are killing people by this godforsaken, wretched act.
It has to hurt you Yahweh, it has too, to see all these unborn babies tossed in the trash can.
Why is it still so prevelant?
Our society continues on a downward spiral to hell. Christians are getting sucked into the vortex and I have to ask 'where are You'?
I do still believe in You, I do, but I have to ask....
Help me to understand why You allow all this? I'm really trying hard to understand and not turn a blind eye to it like most people do. These are things that cannot be ignored, but are mostly swept under the rug, especially by Believers who don't want to be moved out of their comfort zone.
Thank You Yahweh for a brand new day. It's time I go begin it, because it's the only one I have today. I want it to count for something.

Oh Dawn, its like you read my mind. I just put a post on Facebook about the homeless and hungry in our small, "Christian" Bible belt town. I had thought so many people would comment, say "Hey let's do something" but nothing. I don't understand either, I am confused and weary and don't know where to start on my own. Blessings to you Dawn. I pray God shows us the way.
I think people don't care. they are too busy with their own life.
Jesus does touch our lives - but why he doesn't just intervene or eradicate the world and start over? Oh, he did that already -
if jesus wasn't around then the world would truly be horrible - it is his hand that is keeping the full fledged ugliness that is human back
I can't let myself stay there - I have to do something. Some people think if you interfere with the persons hardships you are messing with their karma -
Christians will say 'God helps those who help themselves' and if they aren't helped assume it is because you didn't want help or you have some 'hidden' sin in your life ...
All you can do is love each person each moment - that's it. Nothing else can be done.
The Bible says that Satan is the prince of this world, but Jesus has won the battle. Those little babies killed before their heads can be born - they are with Jesus RIGHT NOW! It's the mothers we need to pray for. The raped and murdered? If they are Christians, they are with Jesus too.
None of us Christians should just be sitting, watching, shaking our heads and asking where God is. His Spirit is in us, and we should all be working to save as many as we can. All the time. Every day.
Let's forget the pleasures of this world. Use that concert money and sponsor a child in a third world country.
I'm doing what I can do for the children, but maybe I could also be doing more? I'm sure we all could...
What makes you think my husband and I are not sponsoring a child, or helping the poor and needy already?

Sorry, not going to miss the concert. I've missed 10 years of my life by the endless man made rules from religious leaders. It's time to be free from their confines and free to live for God without all the extra baggage men tack on to the Bible.
It really is freeing...
But why doesn't Yahweh stop the murders, poverty, rapes, abortions before time? Why is it so prevalent and rampant every single day.
It doesn't make any sense I guess to me, for Him to sit back and do nothing yet we're supposed to trust Him and yet this nation continues on it's downward spiral to hell.
Maybe it's supposed to be like that..end times and all, but then again, people have been saying the end times are near for years and years now...
Ugh..no more thinking for this girl tonight, it's off to bed I go.
Well, if you are already doing all that, then please forgive me. We are God's hands and feet, his representatives here on earth. And I for one am not living by many man made rules either, you know that. Although we are accountable to and for each other. I don't care if you go to the concert, I know nothing about the Judd's, whether they are good people or bad people or what. I've never listened to one of their songs, I'm more of a Herman's Hermits or Beatles kind of girl if I listen to secular music. Just saying, if you want to make a difference, there are good places to start...and if you have already started, and aren't letting your left hand know what your right hand is doing, (or is it the other way around) then good for you!!
Dawn I have family here from out of town, and alot of other stuff going on....but I would like to call you again sometime, I would love to listen and be here for you, like you have been for me....also I just like talking with you..I wish we lived in the same town.
