Gloating on the hubster among other things

We lovely ladies can never esteem our beloveds to much, can we? In fact, I know our men love it when we encourage them in whatever they are doing, reminding them how wonderful (and handsome!) they are and thanking them for being 'wonderhubby' and 'wonderdaddy'.

Just like when our princes tell us we are pretty or 'that' looks good on us, it's picks us up, gives us confidence, the same thing can be said for the menfolk in our lives. They need to hear that too (well, maybe not the pretty part, handsome or cute will do).

So I am going to gloat on my man for a bit before I move on to other news...

2 weeks ago hubster got an e-mail from this person at New Trick Flicks, this movie company in Dallas. They were looking for a storyboard artist. So they sent a message to Robert's college professor's, Mark, who in turn right off the bat told them of hubster.

Robert replied to the e-mail and met up with them in Dallas already. He has read the script (the movie is called 'Cry') and has already begun storyboarding. Storyboarding isn't easy. It's very time consuming, but Robert loves it. It helps that he draws really well too.

He's getting paid $25/hour to do this.

The movie begins shooting October 10th so he's got to much work to do. After October 10th he won't be needed. =)

What is storyboarding, you ask? He's pretty much drawing out the entire movie, well, he's doing it on the computer.

All movies have storyboards. It helps with placing characters and scenes and what not.

So, hubby, kudos to you! You rock my love! One day you are going to to take Dallas by storm and I will be standing behind you with the biggest grin on my face, knowing all along you could do it.

My mom is going around telling everyone her son in law is going to be famous...lol Geez mom... gotta love moms though! =)

It's a dream come true for hubby. I'm so proud of him.

I got my concert ticket, hotel room and rental car ready for Louisiana. Unfortunatly, Ticketmaster was not offering front row tickets (they were saving them for the folks who have casino passes), so yet again, I am in the nosebleed section! Argh!!!!! On the bright side, I am going. =) And I have met other Juddheads on Wynonna's website forum who are going too so we are going to meet up with one another there. How fun!

I will be getting a better quality camera in October. I'm doing my research. There is so much to chose from out there, know what I mean jellybean?

OMGoodness...Dawn what in the world did you do to your hair now?? Is it permanent? Where's your headcovering? Is that really your hair? You had bangs?? Don't you know the Bible says not to cut your hair? What will your pastor think? What's your hubby think? Have you lost your mind? Are you going through a phase or identity crisis? You need help. (insert crazy laugh here). I love you too! =)

The color is actually a red copper...my camera makes it look blonde in here....figures. Blast you camera!!!!!

New guitar or as my dad would say, gee-taar. =) It's black, it's a Fender and it sings beautifully to me and hubby.

I bought a bunch of 'beginners' 'how to play guitar' books because like I said in a few posts below, I didn't remember much of anything...but like one of you lovely readers wrote, it will come back...most of it has. My fingers glide across the strings it harmonious bliss...but...I have forgotten alot, so I am starting from the beginning and working my way forward.

I probably won't actually take guitar lessons till January 2012 for various reasons, so till then, I'm going to practice till my fingers hurt and read and study on chords and notes till it's etched in this spaced out mind of mine. I will succeed! =)

Well I am off. Got to pick up hubby, then we are picking up his best friend Michael and the 3 of us are going to look at movie locations near Venus / Alvarado, then take Michael out to dinner at Fresco's in Burleson (they have the best quesadillas and guacamole on this planet!).

Ciao readers! =)

Wow!! That is so awesome that your hubby has a cool job like that that he loves!

As for the hair....is it real or fake? It is really shinny. I think it makes you look really different but not bad :)

I noticed how beautiful that your skin looks...is it because of your good diet? or have you always had such great skin?

Have fun at the concert.

hugs

My poor skin does not look at all as the pictures make them out to be. The texture of my face is very rigid with all kinds of bumps and it's not very smooth at all. I am trying to figure out how to make it smooth.

Plus I see a dermatologist every few months to get moles removed from my face. I just had one removed 2 or 3 days ago. I had one done in April as well. I have 2 more on my face that need to go so that will come within the next few months. It's $200 for each removal hence the reason I have to space the visits out.

But, I have an awesome derm and she loves to give free samples of stuff. =)

I began using a moisturizer this year (by Elizabeth Arden) twice per day, and to me, it looks like it hasn't done anything, but if you can see a difference, then hey, maybe it actually does work. =)

But I've always had problems with my skin, acne, moles, uneven skin tones, blah, blah, blah. As I have gotten older, it's gotten worse and now we can add forehead wrinkles and crows feet to the list. =(

As for the hair, well, I will leave that up to your imagination. It's actually a pretty copper color...the camera didn't do justice on it.

I'd probably look really different had I went blue, or green...that'd be something...lol.
