Today after the gym, in our travels, we ended up in Dallas. We stopped for lunch at Bliss Raw Cafe & Elixir. I had heard of this place before but had never gone till now. It was Amazing!
I took pictures of our meal so you can see the art and creativity the raw food chefs put into some of their masterpieces. =)
This won't be the last time we visit this place either. We already have plans to go back very, very soon.
In the dish closest to the sandwiches, it was a cucumber paste of some sort. And the dish nearest to the picture were pickles...I think. =) Either way it was fabulous.
Included marinated kale with nacho 'cheeze', pico de gallo, salsa verde and cashew sour cream wrapped in coconut tortillas.
And for dessert we enjoyed the raw version of New York Style Cheesecake.
Can't remember the ingrediants in it (I knew I should have wrote it down) but the crust is made with whatever raw nuts are left on hand. The chocolate sauce is melted raw cacao nibs.
This cheesecake beats the Cheesecake Factory's any day and it's virtually guilt free. =)
I wanted to share a short video about Bliss. Here is the link: This video gives you the option to skip the advertisements and go right to the video. =)

Well, I've got a few more things I need to do before going upstairs to snuggle with the hubster.
Yahweh bless and keep you my friends. <(((><

The food looks attractive and that is important - I make a Greek dish that that tastes great but the children won't eat because they say it looks like dog sick.
That food looks really good!
I started searching for a raw food cafe near me and was pleased to find that they have one in the downtown area here in the city we live in. I'll be sure to let you know if we try it----though I think it would be a bit far for you to travel to. ;-)
