So, I turned 27 today....

To be quite honest with ya, I forgot today was my birthday till mom wished me a happy one in an e-mail yesterday...lol. Too much stuff going on and my birthday is the last thing on my mind. :-)

We are in Oklahoma till Monday morning, back visiting our old Army base and town (Ft. Sill / Lawton), the place we were at before the Army shipped us to Germany. We love this place! Lots of things have changed and lots of things remain the same.

Ft. Sill / Lawton is only 3 hours from our house in Texas and it wasn't a bad drive at all.

I went to my old church yesterday evening and the Pastor's wife and a few of the ladies were floored to see me as they thought I was still in Germany. :-) I look forward to going to Saturday night service, Sunday morning service and Sunday evening service. Ooooo can't wait!!!!

It's not as hot here in OK as it is in TX. I mean it's hot, but there is a huge difference between OK hot and TX hot that's for sure.

We are staying at the hotel on base and it's a very nice place. Free Wi-Fi, continental breakfast, and for 4 nights it costs us $180.

Well I must be going. Housekeeping came by already (at 8 a.m.) and we weren't together and I hear them again so I best let them do their job!
