Monday musings

It's 10 p.m. as I sit here and type this and I bone weary tired! But it's a good tired feeling as I spent most of the day cleaning, dusting, etc.
The housing inspector is coming bright and early tomorrow (8:30 a.m.) to inspect our dwelling and let us know what needs fixin', besides the obvious that we already know of, so I have been trying to make my home presentable looking...lol. Earlier it looked like a tornado went though the place.
Good news is I found more clothing and shoes I am going to sell on eBay once I get settled in Texas. :-)
More good news is our neighbor who lent us his car last week told us we could keep driving it till he wants it back (which he won't need as he has a truck and motorcycle), so that's a blessing!!!
Robert got all his gear turned in today without a problem and he finished his 'Phase II' physical so he is a happy camper!
The movers come bright and early on the 26th. We also move into the hotel on base on the 26th. There is no WiFi there, but...we will be able to bounce off someone else's connection while being there.
So, that is that. :-) Maybe after the movers get done with their thing on Thursday I will take pictures of our empty government housing so you can see what we lived in :-)
Well I still have a few things to do before I shower and try to sleep. I haven't had a good night's sleep in over a month as I have been to excited!!!
God Bless you my friends!!!!

I have never been to Grand Prairie but I have heard of it many times. Being a born & bred Texan I always excited to hear when someone moves to Texas, regardless of the part of the state. So welcome!!!

Blessings!
