Last week I went to a student film festival with Robert in Ft. Worth. His film and video class had all submitted movies, music videos, animations, etc to be seen and there were prizes at the end for the winner of each category.
I had a lot of fun and some of the movies were fabulous. Those young men will be famous some day, I just know it. =)
Well, Robert won 'Best Animation' for his animation called '1st 44'. Wooohooo! It's his first award from animating. He recieved a card with $100 in it. He had to give $50 of it though to his co-creator of the film, but they won nonetheless. =)
He can't make the video public yet or else he won't be able to enter it in any more film fests, so until he's done with the festival route, his animation has got to be left unseen to the public till then. =)
He's currently working on a sequal to it, and I'm helping.
Speaking of my wonderhubby, he's only got 2 semesters left till he graduates (May 2012). He's off for the summer now.
He's also looking for a new job so keep him in your thoughts and prayers that something will open up for him.
Our 10 year anniversary is coming up soon. We've had to rearrange plans around do to finances, or lack thereof, lol, but I think it's still going to be a great weekend together. =)
Well I can see his brain steaming away in the dining room as he works on trigonometry questions and I am going to find something cold to eat or drink because my allergies are driving me crazy and anything cold right now feels good.
