In it were these 2 DVD's, 2 soft cover books and some letters. Thank you Michelle!!! I love getting stuff from you! :-D
I had wanted 'Return of the Daughters' when it first came out, but never got around to buying it, then Michelle said she would send it to me and so hooray! It really was a good DVD. Thank Yahweh for families listening to the His voice and for researching the Scriptures on how to raise Godly maidens.
Our society has the mind set of as soon as you get out of high school, you automatically go off to college and then 'make something of yourself in this world'. That's unfortunatly how our world thinks. Either college or military life. Anything other than that is just 'off' or 'weird'.
Heaven forbid a young girl wants to be a wife and mom!!!!! Oh the horror of that thought!!!!!!! :-/
Our world has ingrained in us that being a wife and mom is not a job, oh but just ask any momma with wee ones and ask her not if what she is doing is a full time job.
Our world has viewed homemaking as boring drudgery work and has become a lost art. I beg to differ and I am sure many of you do too.
THANK YAHWEH MORE AND MORE FAMILIES ARE COMING BACK TO HIM, COMING BACK TO HIS WORD AND LIVING ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE!!!!
Especially the young ladies my age and younger. More and more are staying home to take care of their children, husband, and home, and you know what? THEY ARE LOVING IT!
One doesn't need a college education to obey Scripture. It's right there, in plain black and white text for us to read and live by.
Moms, wives...keep on doing what you are doing for Yahweh and don't let the lies of satan and his minions deter you from the narrow way!
It's just a blessing to see and hear many families going back to a Biblical approach to raising the future Christians of society.
I haven't watched the 'Biblical Feminity' DVD yet but I will later on. I am sure it's just as good!

ROGERS, Ark. – An Arkansas woman has given birth to her 18th child.
Michelle Duggar delivered the baby girl by Caesarean section Thursday at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. The baby, named Jordyn-Grace Makiya Duggar, weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 inches long.
"The ultimate Christmas gift from God," said Jim Bob Duggar, the father of the 18 children. "She's just absolutely beautiful, like her mom and her sisters."
The Duggars now have 10 sons and eight daughters.
Jim Bob Duggar said Michelle started having contractions Wednesday night. She needed the C-section, her third, because the baby was lying sideways. Jim Bob said both baby and mother were doing well Thursday night.
"We both would love to have more," he said.
The cable network TLC broadcasts a weekly show about the Duggars called "17 Kids and Counting." Chris Finnegan of TLC — which handles public relations for the Duggar family — said the show's name would be updated to account for the latest addition to the family. He said TLC also will air a show Monday on the baby's delivery.
Jim Bob Duggar is 43, a year older than his wife. Their oldest child, Joshua, is 20.
The other Duggar children, in between Joshua and Jordyn-Grace, are Jana, 18; John-David, 18; Jill, 17; Jessa, 16; Jinger, 14; Joseph, 13; Josiah, 12; Joy-Anna, 11; Jeremiah, 9; Jedidiah, 9; Jason, 8; James, 7; Justin, 6; Jackson, 4; Johannah, 3; and Jennifer, 1.
"Our whole family is excited about Jordyn's addition to our family," Jim Bob Duggar said. "She's just perfect in every way."

HOORAY for the Duggar family!!! May Yahweh bless and keep you all! :-)
Yesterday while doing my Bible readings I read Ephesians 6: 1-4 and Colossians 3:14-25 and something just jumped out at me that I wanted to share.
In Ephesians 6:4 it says ... And ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
I let that sink in for a moment and thought 'wow, if only more fathers knew this, knew the responsibility they have before Yahweh to raise the next generation for Him, would they take their duties lightly or stand up and be that Godly father Yah has called him to be.'
Oh yes, it's a great responsibility but oh the reward of doing Yahweh's will!
Well that verse just stood out to me and thought I would post a thought or two on it.
Tomorrow is church and I can't wait! Last Sunday I was sick so I couldn't go, then the Sunday before that, hubby was sick so I didn't go, so I am looking forward to tomorrow!
Haven't heard back from Best Buy about my laptop. Acutally they did call the day after I turned it in and said they are going to crash the whole system and put everything back on. Gee...thanks. :-) I will give them a call later on and see if it's ready. It should be. They have been really busy lately with virus infected computers.
Well back to work! Yes, I work! I am a full time homemaker....that is work! :-)
Blessings! Hope you all are having a safe and productive weekend!

I love the return of the daughters DVD. It is great. I would love to know what you think of the top one when you have watched it. My e-mail is ruth_parkinson@yahoo.com.

Great post. It is so true that most young ladies these days are more interested in careers and what can they accomplish education wise. It is sad that mothers have lost that role of teaching your daughters to be a helpmeet. I to did not receive this teaching. I missed out alot with my boys as I worked and went to school. I know better now and try to teach the truth to the young ladies that I know. Have a blessed day.

Thank you for this beautiful post Dawn! It is so true, so many have such a corrupt idea of what is "successful". I don't ever want to excell in the world's ideas, but what the Word shows me and encourages me to be.
Those look like wonderful dvds, I will have to look into them some time!
Have a beautiful week, Dawn!
Hey Dawn!
I have the Return of the Daughters and it's SOOO good. The Monstrous Regiment of Women is another top favorite of mine. Probably my ultimate favorite. Have you seen it? I also just got the Biblical Femininity video and more stuff from Vision Forum with my Christmas money. I haven't watched it yet, but look forward to it soon hopefully.

Dawn, may your Christmas with your family be blessed and holy. Aye, being a wife and mother is a goodly work that is not for wimps. Tis a favorite saying round here:
"The phrase 'working mother' is redundant."
I LOVED return of the daughters...haven't been able to see the other one yet but would love to. I've already lent out my return of the daughters to three different families and they've all loved it. It is definitely wonderful and so inspiring!
