Innocent or guilty?

'That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.'
- Philippians 2:15
The policeman stopped a car for speeding on the road. When was the driver guilty - when he started speeding or when he got caught?
The law says you are innocent until proven guilty. When are you proven guilty? Is it when you do something wrong or is it when you get caught?
Then you can plead guilty or not guilty and you might get a hearing. It may not be until the hearing that you are proven guilty or not guilty.
The Bible says we are all guilty before God. According to the Bible, we are not innocent until proven guilty, but guilty till proven innocent.
When were we proven innocent? Was it when Jesus died on the Cross for us, when we joined the church, or when we confessed our sins and asked for forgiveness?
Jesus did His part, now we have to do our part to be proven innocent. Many people think if they did something wrong and didn't get caught, they got away with it. But they don't think of an all seeing God above who saw them.
He is going to be the righteous Judge in the end when we die.
In Philippians 2: 10-12 we read that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
~ Confess your sins - not your neighbors ~ (Amen to that!)
