Christmas went by so fast, I mean really fast I feel like I didn't get a chance to enjoy it. And no, I wasn't baking up a storm or running around Christmas shopping, it just went by too fast for me and now here we are just hours away from 2008! Umm...hello...Father Time...wait for meeeee!!!!
We had a wonderful Christmas nonetheless and even though it didn't snow it was still nice and frosty out and it was beautiful to stare out the window and look at.
So this was it...our final Christmas in Germany.
God Bless You!

Looks like a fun mess.
I got a little put off at myself when I realized I didn't take any pictures this year.
The kids said we could re enact our Chriatmas. All I'd have to do is buy gifts. HAHAHA!!
Next year I'll wear my camera around my neck. LOL
Have a great day!
That is a wonderful mess! LOL! I am glad you had a great Christmas!
LOL! Wonderful fun! ;) On the non-stick pan....I really got into Pampered Chef at one time. LOL...I got 23 stones and solely cook on them.. LOL I do have the PC Nonstick cookware.....and one thing the consultant told us was not to use Pam and stuff on them because it takes the nonstick coating off of them over time...which is why....LOL we used to go through so many pans. PC has and I just saw one in a newspaper add the other day at a regular store.....they are spritzer type bottles and you put canola oil in there...instead of the Pam and it doesn't hurt the pans like Pam does. Hope this helps :)
Dawn~ when do you all PCS back the States? Prepare for the transition and culture shock back to the States. LOL I remember coming back after being stationed in Italy........and it was such a culture shock. LOL LOL LOL
We will be coming back the end of June God willing.
You know...people said we would have culture shock when coming to Germany. I didn't have it. To me it was just another place to live. I didn't have any problems adjusting or anything.
I know when I have went back to Florida or Indiana to visit while here in Germany, I fit right back into society again...so I don't think I will have much of a culture shock.
Thanks for the advice on the non stick pan stuff. :-)
Bless you!!!

Belated Merry Christmas, Dawn. Those are some great gifts! So thoughtful to buy "practical things" like the laundry detergent. :) Here is a tip to make the fabric softener last a super duper long time:
Get a few cheapie wash clothes (wash them first to get them soft.) Dampen them with water and lay them flat. Use about two tablespoons of non-concentrated softner, less if concentrated, drizzle over the washcloth and fold it up and give a pat to get the softener to soak in. Toss in prepared cloth with wet clothes like a dryer sheet. After a few cycles, the cloth will be saturated with softener, so you can just dampen it with water and use it without adding any extra. I do this every few cycles. Your clothes will still smell nice and not cling!
