I am blessed and privileged to have people like you who I can count on to pray for me. For that I thank you and I give you big cyber hugs! (((bloggers)))
I am feeling much better today...but how long will that last till something else goes wrong...again... *sigh* Being an adult isn't fun at all. All these teenagers are stupid for thinking "I can't wait to get out of my parents house I can do what I want for once"...LOL... Yeah like living in the adult world is so great and grand. Please...I'd take being 15 years old again anyday!
So anyway, I like to rubber stamp (I think it kind of goes along with penpalling) and I was doing a search on one of my favorite things in the world ....Thomas Kinkade paintings and came across this site that just began offering TK rubber stamps! Whoa! Coolbeans!
Here is the link:
http://www.cornishheritagefarms.com/
They also have other scrapbooking stuff, etc. I probably won't get the stamps this year. I will wait and see if anyone sells them on eBay first or maybe another place like Hobby Lobby will sell them.
I love TK's winter and church scenes the most.
While I was searching on TK, I ran across alot of people who honestly wanted TK dead because of his paintings...that's insane! That's like the time I read about some woman who hoped Michelle Duggar would die giving birth to her 17th blessing! What a messed up world we unfortunately have to live in.
Sometimes I sit there with a few of the TK things I have and wonder, "can we ever live in a world like this...so peaceful, so cozy, so tranquil so real". I suppose we can, the world just doesn't want to. They want to continue on in hate and spite and being miserable. Well they can go on ahead. They don't have to drag me along with them!
Well my house isn't going to clean itself, so I must be off...
Again thank you my friends for your prayers. And thank you for being a listening ear. Can't say that for anyone else on this base (besides my hubby).
Love,
Me

I am glad that you are doing better. I can totally understand you being lonely. It is really hard to be in a place so far from home and then not to have a support system. I know while I was in Germany I was SUPER lonely- it was just me and my 18 month son. The good news is that - that was the year that my religion turned into a relationship with God. I began to read the Bible every day. There was not much to do and so I just opened my Bible and started to read. That year I totally read the Bible all the way through. And that is what started a real relationship with God. Lean on him during this time. He knows how hard this is for you but when you come out of this you will be stronger. God will carry you through!!
God bless and keep you,
Lisa in Texas = )
I so wish my wonderful long distance plan worked all the way to Germany. I'd be calling and bugging you all the time. LOL
I understand being lonely. I can chat up a storm to the cashier. Other then Ray she is all I have. (poor woman)lol
You hang in there. When you get to Texas I'll have hot tea and warm snickerdoodles (cookies) waiting for ya!
I can call you Rebecca! Just leave me your number. Here's my email address so some weird crack on blog world doesn't get it:
biblegirl1999@yahoo.com
It's only a few pennies a minute for me to call the States. :)
Let me know when a good time is to call. I don't want to wake up the husband or anything.
Germany is 7 hours ahead of Texas, just so you know. :)
Hi Dawn - I haven't visited in a while, so I had no idea you were going through a tough time. Hope you'll find strength - we all have our lows, from time to time. Wishing you much endurance and patience!
And, are you serious? Someone actually wished Michelle Duggar *dead* -- but actually I don't know why I'm surprised, with all the hatefulness going the way of that precious family.
Hey Dawn, I emailed you a while back about my sister's CD and then also yesterday but heard no reply. Maybe my email went in your junk mail box? I used that one you listed, the yahoo one. Here is mine:
christianhomekeeper@gmail.com
I am so glad you are feeling better Dawn! I agree..there is way too much hate in this world..some people try to hate the most gentle sweet things..so hard to understand!!
You hang in there. I will continue to pray for you every day.
I am sorry I only knew today what a struggle you have been having lately. i do understand and I am sending you lots of hugs. I am bi polar and have anxiety and panic attacks plus I am usually at home because a lot of the time I don't like to leave the house. It is better now that I am in my home town though. What makes it rough is I also suffer a lot of physical issues to and my hubby fights depression and physical issues. So we both know what you are going through. Being grown up is rough and not always a lot of fun! But I am so glad to have my friends on here and that means you too! Huggles!
So glad that you are feeling a bit better. It's great to see the spirited you! Hang in there and all will get better. This is the way the Lord test us and we must stay focused. Just think if you didn't have the internet it would be so much worse. I am so grateful to have everyone on the online community cause I think I would have been in a padded room LOL!
God Bless!
