Hi.

Hope everyone's week is going good for you!
I am tired, lack of sleep and running my husband all over Germany.
Yesterday (Wednesday) he woke up in pain in his kidneys (in case you didn't know, he has been battling ongoing kidney stones for about a month or so now) and said he was going to the clinic. I knew he was hurting because he was hunched over.
Well his work didn't let him go to the clinic right away because they needed him to take care of office matters.
But he finally went to the clinic at noon and came thru the front door of our house at about 3:30 p.m. saying we needed to go to the US hospital an hour and a half away because he needed a CT scan and right away (originally he had an appotinment for several CT scans on April 30th and then he had an appt. to see the results on May 15th, but now he doesn't need those dates anymore).
His doctor tried to get him to go get the scan at a German hospital in town but her supervisor said no. That's wrong. It truly is. Gas is $3.55 / gallon and that's a lot of wear and tear on our car just because the military doesn't want to spend the money! Military health care at it's best! Ugh...
So we got on the road and ended up in a STAU (German word for traffic jam) which that was about 30 minutes of time wasted.
Got to the hospital at 6 p.m. Robert went and got a scan and the tech there said to go to Urology to get the results.
Well, they were closed! Go figure!
So, Robert checked himself into the ER to see if he could get some answers there.
The ER wasn't packed at all and he was seen right away.
Well they didn't do anything for him except give him a day off work today and told him to go to our clinic the next day to follow up with his doctor.
So we left and filled up on gas, and went over to Ramstein Air Force base and ate a late dinner and then headed home.
Didn't get home till almost 10:30 p.m. Robert has been popped up on Percocet so I have been doing all the driving. And of course, night driving is hard for me as I can't see with all the lights plus I only got about 2 hours of sleep the night before so it was a long night to say the least.
This morning Robert went to our clinic and his doctor said the CT scan showed 4 stones in his right kidney and some small ones in his left. He is off work till Monday.
And he has an early appt. with the Urologist tomorrow morning at the US hospital an hour and a half away, so we will be up bright and early tomorrow to be on the road.
Who knows what the Urologist will want to do. Hopefully blast those suckers with a lazer beam...sure would beat surgery that's for sure.
We will probably be gone all day tomorrow.
I think I am going to pack an over night back for us just in case he does have to stay over night or something. Can never be too cautious, right. :-)
So, yeah Robert's all loopy on Percocet right now and he walks around the house babbling and not making any sense half the time. It's quite intersting really...lol.
But hey, it keeps the pain at bay.
Oh!!! I have all kinds of awesome stuff up for grabs on eBay! Go check it out! My id name is: biblegirl1999
Got lots of modest plus size clothing, among other things. Got some size Large and XLarge stuff in there as well. :-)
Well I have to get scootin', got lots to do...
Gosh I'm tired.... lol.
Bless you all my lady loves!

OOHHH! We are praying!
See if drinking Kombucha helps. It is a detoxifier, and may well help get rid of what is causing all the build up.

Yowza!! I've never had kidney stones and I hope I never do! Isn't it like the military to make Robert work while he's in pain? I was scheduled for knee surgery and my supervisors made me work right up until my appointment! I was late for my own surgery!! The hospital was furious that I was made to work but I said, "What could I do? I can't disobey orders..." I hope Robert gets better soon!

If you are on eBay website...look up to your right hand corner...you will see a 'button' that says 'Community'. Click it. When it brings you to the next page ther will be a little box that pretty much says 'find someone'. Type in biblegirl1999. It should then bring my name up and something like 'view sellers items'. Click on that and you are there.

Hope that helps. :)

What a mess! The military is all about saving money these days; hubs and I were just talking about it yesterday.
God be with you today - I don't envy you driving in Germany.

Some people don't have health care at all. You get it for free, right?

Hope your hubby gets better soon.
