This is our car..okay, well the picture isn't as I just grabbed one from Google, but this is what our car looks like. We have different rims though (that came with the car).
We have officially paid it off as of this month! Wooohoooooo!!!
I purchased the car myself in June 2003 while my husband was in Korea because our other car...ummm...we won't go there...LOL. I figured with all the problems we had with our other car, getting a new one with the extended warranty and all that was a good thing...and it was.
I believe the price for the car was $16,583. Had only 8 miles on it :-)
Now the car has 50,000 (we reached that this weekend actually) and it has had it's share of problems, but nothing that caused us to worry and fret over.
We could have paid the car off completely last year when my dad's house sold and we got a check for that, but my beloved suggested we just keep paying the car off like we are and we put that money from my dad's house in a CD to grow. So we did.
Even with me staying home we paid the car off a year earlier than what GMAC expected us too. Ha ha.... take that interest rates!!!! LOL.
And that is that..praise be unto God.
