This is Beautiful, enjoy.
"A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ that a man should have to seek Him first to find her."
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin ' " I'm whispering "I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven."
When I say... "I am a Christian" I don’t speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not claiming to be perfect, My flaws are far too visible but, God believes I am worth it.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I still feel the sting of pain.. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not holier than thou, I'm just a simple sinner Who received God’s good grace, somehow!
I could not have said this better myself. It irks me when the unsaved scoff at the Christians living for God as being more righteous or something.
Yeah...umm hello. Just because we are Christians doesn't make us a super human or something...LOL.
Not a day goes by that I fail God somehow, whether it be not reading my Bible, not praying, not helping, having an attitude of impatience instead of a meek and quiet spirit, etc. But praise God for the Holy Spirit. He pricks my heart and my conscience to repent. Thank God for that still small voice!
I am no better than the unsaved man or woman. However I have chosen where I plan to spend Eternity and that is with my Lord and Saviour.
The unsaved have not made that decision and that's what makes us different.
Just because I am a Christian doesn't mean I don't have problems. I have them just like the next person, but the difference is I have God and His Holy Word to direct and guide me though, while the world has...well, the world's way of handling issues.
Thank you Lord...thank you for saving me. Thank you for your Holy Spirit and your Word as it's my road map for this life.
Thank you for renewing my heart and soul and thank you for sending your only begotten Son in place of my sins. I truly do not deserve such a gift, but I am honored you have called on me and many others to recieve it.
Amen.
