Robert gave Dixie a bath this afternoon and it was rather cold outside so once she was done, she was laying down and shivering. She curled up next to Robert to get warm and then I grabbed a baby blanket I had on hand and tucked her in to give her more warmth...poor thing...LOL.
Fall is making it's way here and I love it! Some of the fall scents from www.yankeecandle.com are screaming my name to buy them...we'll see.
Today was just an easy day. Robert had off work and we've been just together the whole day not doing much.

i know what you mean about yankee candles! i was recently blessed by a friend with a gift of two of their scents, vanilla cupcake and home sweet home.

How nice to spend the holiday weekend with your hubby. We always love those kind of weekends.
You asked about okri... well, it doesn't really taste like any other vegetable (in my opinion) but it is delicious when fried in butter like I had mentioned. If you're able to come across some, give it a try.
